Long run days....

April 25, 2015-

Today we ran a short 13 miles, it was a nice easy run. Once again enjoying every step, Pam allowing me to stop and sniff every so often. Around mile 3 or so, we ran past the bagel shop and thankfully I could carb up a little more, woo hoo!

When we got home, I spent sometime in the backyard with my counterparts Sandy, Candycane, and Benji......Benji took a mile walk with Pam as well!

Then we joined in on the IIN Conference for IIN health coaches, authors, and students. And we learned a little more about helping the world around us. Paul Pitchford, author of "Healing with Whole Foods" spoke and talked about the WHOLE FOOD experience......and how we today find it more difficult to eat WHOLE foods because so much is refined!......Personally I think we need to fix this! He spoke about giving certain foods to us the dogs, and keeping the rest for ourselves (in our dog foods that is) I mean come on, we deserve the best too PEOPLE!.....So PLEASE watch what you feed your dog as Pam does.

An IIN health coach is not just anyone, it is someone who studied to be a healthcoach, and is in fact certified. Whereas there are others taking on the role of healthcoach that have no true certification, so when choosing a healthcoach please look for that badge of IIN approval on their websites.

Tomorrow we will be hitting Central Park to test the waters for July and to possibly meetup with some fellow healthcoaches before the conference! So we hope to have some great videos and photos of Central Park and NYC for tomorrow's blog so tune back in tomorrow for more.

On Friday, Sandy will be taking Pam back into the Doga experience, on an everyday practice, using Skylers guidance over the years! Sandy will also be going over some important recipes for HEALTHY ONES for people and their dogs to share together to fuel themselves for their entire day and nights ahead!

Oh, Pam has also taken on the GoodBelly 12 day reboot..... www.12day.goodbelly.com, using VEGAN probiotics....She started yesterday and it continues until May 9th.....can you believe May starts the end of next week?!?!?!? WOW!....Hopefully this will make a difference in Pam! We'll update on how things are going in the next 12 days!

Oh, of course, I do want to mention our fundraiser....you can help us help out (did I just go all Jerry Maguire on you all there?!?!?).....anyway click on these links and you can buy our book- in fact, we will start instead of just the month of May- we will extend it from April 15 to May 24th and with every book sold we will donate a portion of the proceeds to Kent Animal Shelter......
