Today Pam said she wanted to run the course in Central Park. Unfortunately that idea has been changed......due to there being a NYRR race going on this morning, Pam decided to try to run the course on another day.....even though I have run in races with hundreds of people in past and was fine, going all the way to the city then running she didn't want to step into a large crowd in a large city without me knowing a little more about the course. All she wants to do is ease me into the course for July, so ALL are safe and sound! Pam knows I like to be friendly towards ALL and with a leash between us, proper control and knowledge of the course is mandatory. And if there is a race we will not be able to properly get to know the course because I will be trying to be the lead, the big dog if you will!
So today we are resting and tomorrow we'll hit the local streets and do a 5 mile run as planned before.
And today we are watching the IIN Conference in the comfort of our own home!.....Gotta love technology sometimes, although Pam vows she will be SPEAKING at the November conference or a future conference soon!
