Scout's Daily Blog

May 9, 2015-

As the final run of week 14, we ran 16 miles through the streets of Nesconset, we ran past the bagel store, the vet office, and even stopped at the dogpark. We ran the trails leading to and from the dogpark. It was a nice and easy 16 miles. Today it was somewhat overcast, and a little chillier than days before it was a bit humid though. Not a bad day for running hopefully in two weeks it will be as cool, and not humid. I guess we shall see right?!?!?!?.....

We did decide we will be starting at 6am, and in hopes of being halfway through about 8- 8:30am and by 10- 10:30am, we hope to be at Kent Animal Shelter. We will be running east bound along Middle Country Road for most of the course. Coming from Smithtown By Pass going over to Middle Country Road......there are a few turns towards the end of the course. This week Pam and I will go further into our course.

Today, we however came across another new friend. This is yet another furry four legged friend who wanted to get their leash on! Check this out:

Don't forget about our fundraiser for the shelter that helped me find my furever home!
You can help us help them out (did I just go all Jerry Maguire on you all there?!?!?).....anyway click on these links and you can buy our book- in fact, we will start instead of just the month of May- we will extend it from April 15 to May 24th and with every book sold we will donate a portion of the proceeds to Kent Animal Shelter......
